  • 2 apples
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 liter of filtered water


Peel and core one of the apples and cut into quarter inch thick pieces. Place the apple slices in a mixing bowl and using a large spoon or press, mash the apple slices, getting out as much juice as possible. Add this juice to the water in a larger pitcher, along with the cinnamon, and mix well.

Core the second apple but leave the skin on. Slice and dice into small pieces, and add these pieces of apple to the water. Mix again, chill, and enjoy!

To boost this drink’s fat burning ability, add a squeeze of fresh lemon or some raspberries. Both contain fat burning properties of their own.

You can use one dose of this recipe for three days. On the fourth day put new apples and cinnamon. The ideal detox dose is no more than 35 days, after this period you should make a break of 10 days before you begin again.

2-3 tablespoons white chia seed

½ cup of water

2 ripe pears, peeled, cored and roughly chopped

Flesh of 1 mango, roughly chopped

1½ cups soy or almond milk

1 cup vanilla yoghurt

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground ginger

¼ teaspoon ground cardamom



Combine chia seeds with water and soak for 20 minutes until a thick gel forms.

In a blender, blend together chia seed gel and remaining ingredients and serve immediately.

Serves six.
